Ballad of Horace Ordinary (Free & Easy)

I once knew this man named Horace Ordinary
Strangest cat you'll ever see, stands four-foot-three
Eyes of green and golden teeth, long hair white as snow
Braided down his back

Every afternoon he had a cup of tea
Staring out the window, watch the streetlights change from red to green
Watch the business men light cigarettes, loosen up their ties
They dreaded going home

To their wife and kids and life so ordinary
Horace says he's waiting for the day they snap
Leave their families, move out east, dance around the forest
Naked, singing

Silly silly tiddly-widdly diddly dee
Your mama's going crazy and your daddy's a freak
Silly silly tiddly-widdly diddly dee
Let's all shine brighter than the sun!
Horace says the revolution is coming soon
When all the suit and ties will howl at the moon
They'll leave behind their pretty home, and dance around the forest
Run and play, be free

Free from all the lies and the prying eyes
The war, they said, is over, and we didn't really even have to compromise
Horace says he sees 'em every now and then, but he doesn't like to mention
They were naked, singing

Silly silly tiddly-widdly diddly dee
Your mama's going crazy and your daddy's a freak
Silly silly tiddly-widdly diddly dee
Let's all shine brighter than the sun!

Free and Easy

You'll never see me down, you'll never see me frown
When I'm feelin' free and easy

Not a care at all, the day was so delightful
When I'm feeling free and easy
Come with me right now, I'll show you how
How to feel free and easy

Picture scenes, memories
Floating down from the pages of my dreams
Come with me, and you will see
Come with me, you will see
You will see, and believe
