Skinnydipping

There's a river flowing down a mountainside
It's been living there, I think, for a very, very long time
And I love to hear it sing it's song
And I know one day I'll sing along

There's a pond that's sleeping in my neighbor's backyard
I'll go swimming even though the sign says, "No Trespassing"
And I know I will get caught someday
And I know exactly what I'll say

I'll say, "Sir, please turn around because I'm naked
"Have you seen that river, man, I really, really dig it"
He said, "Son, I have no clue what the hell you're talking about
"Son, stay off those drugs and leave before I call the cops"

So I ran away and tried to hide
Took my skirt off in a field of daisies and sunshine
Then I fell into a cloudy dream
There I was back at the same old scene

Found myself behind a watershed
Took off all my clothes to be naked
And I know I will get caught someday
And I know exactly what I'll say

I'll say, "Sir, please turn around because I'm naked
"Have you seen that river, man, I really, really dig it"
He said, "Son, I have no clue what the hell you're talking about
"Son, stay off those drugs and leave before I call the cops"
